Throughout over a month's operations this officer working without military escort, not only established and maintained O.Ps in close contact with the enemy, but repeatedly on many occasions with complete disregard of personnel safety penetrated strongly held enemy positions and enemy occupied areas and villages.

The proved accuracy of his reports were materially responsible for the successes achieved.
