Action for which recommended -
This officer commanded the Coy which fought alongside us in the final attack on MOGAUNG. He showed courage and military knowledge of a high order in his capture of the railway station.
Later in his advance into the City he maintained touch and worked in the closest co-operation with the British troops on his right. He commanded skilfully a good Coy of men well versed in the art of war and who appeared fearless in action and with a contempt for the enemy.
To Capt SU must go the credit for the command of these troops. Their co-operation and liking for our troops which was reciprocated left nothing to be desired, and speaks well of the future close co-operation of British Forces with these gallant fighters.
