Action for which recommended -

This officer in the final stage of operations was responsible for opening up a temporary hospital in KAMAING and for the evacuation of casualties from the forward area.

In spite of a practically non-existent L of C and a shortage of medical personnel, through his energy and ingenuity all difficulties were overcome and he was an example to all ranks of how to get a difficult task accomplished.
