Captain TUCK carried out the duties of Staff Captain (Q) throughout the operations. That the Brigade was at no time short of essential stores was largely due to the great experience, energy, ability and determination of Captain TUCK. He personally flew in Supply Dropping Aircraft on many occasions, and particularly in difficult weather conditions, to ensure the accurate delivery of stores to Columns in the Field.
On the death of the Q.A.Q.M.G. of the Brigade, captain TUCK assumed greatly increased duties and responsibilities which he carried out with increased energy and determination.
The climax of the Brigade's operations was the attack on MOGAUNG which involved the prompt and regular delivery of very large quantities of ammunition and equipment. Captain TUCK was largely responsible that all requirements were fully met, overcoming all difficulties in obtaining special stores and shortage of aircraft.
Finally, Captain TUCK was responsible for the smooth reception and evacuation of the BRIGADE from DINJAN. His work throughout has contributed largely to the success of the operations carried out by this Brigade.
