This officer has shown untiring energy during L.R.P. Ops in Burma. The column to which he was attached covered some 600 miles in 3 months. Often after a hard day's work he was tending the sick late into the night.
On 13 April he went forward beyond our forward troops under heavy fire to a wounded man.
During the CLYDESIDE Block from 7 to 25 May his R.A.P. was continually under heavy shell fire. He carried out his duties with total disregard for his personal safety and set an example of devotion to duty that is hard to excel.
